About Reverend Rickmon
Rev. Tawana Michelle Rickmon has faithfully served Saint James AME Church for nearly three decades, offering consistent leadership, administrative excellence, and a deep commitment to ministry.
She accepted her call to ministry in 2011 and was ordained with Local Ministerial Orders in the African Methodist Episcopal Church in 2014.
Rev. Rickmon has served St. James in multiple capacities over the past 29 years and currently serves as Administrative Assistant, supporting the ongoing work and mission of the church with diligence and care.
Her leadership extends beyond the local church, having served as:
- Administrative Assistant to multiple Presiding Elders in the St. Louis-Columbia and Gateway Districts
- Administrative Assistant to the Missouri Annual Conference
Rev. Rickmon is guided by a deep sense of purpose and calling, grounded in her belief that the most important work is fulfilling what God has ordained.
Her life and service reflect the spirit of Romans 12:1-2, as she continues to offer herself in faithful service to God and the church.
